Japanese family

Kiyoshi and Eriko.
This two are one of the nicest persons that I ever met. Kiyoshi is a awesome designer so please make sure to stop by his blog http://kiyoshiharaguchi.blogspot.com/.
They treat me like family in Japan and I really wish I can have the same chance here in Brasil.
Domo arigatou for both of you.

Some years ago, Drift Magazine published a review of my book on their pages and I was super stoked about it... then we start to work together and a Albe Falzon piece was published too...
Some months ago, Joe Conway, the american editor, a super kind and lovely guy, ask me if I want to work with them on a new project...
Today, is the launch of Drift Magazine with new style...
Please make sure you stop there and check out every corner of the website with articles, blogs....
Thanks Joe and the whole Maine crew...

First roll of film after a year and a half...

This photos are from the first roll of film after a year and a half of digital.... this where scan from the photo paper, so the quality is very bad... will need a film scan soon.... all shoot with a Nikon F3... what a camera... feels like a king with this camera in my hands...

Me, mustache, nikon and pentax

Ah well... second day in Japan, I was putting my art on the wall, and when I finish I was speaking with Rip Zinger and we where around Thomas Campbell. I said to Rip that I stop shooting film, due the difficult of finding films to buy and places to process... he mention that with Thomas, and Thomas look at me and said really slowly, "you should never stop shooting with film...", and he repeat that three times... those words stick into my head and after I came back to Brasil I think a lot about it... and decide that I should quit digital and shoot film exclusively... Everything went right and I exchange all my equipment to two cameras with two lenses... two dreams come true.. a brand new Pentax 67II with a 75mm f4.5 and a classic Nikon F3 with a 50 f1.4.
I got in touch with super famous Santos photographer Marcos Piffer and he was SO kind to exchange 20 rolls of TriX 400 for 2 of my originals signed... what a honour....
Ah... and my mustache is getting bigger....
